Earn while you learn with an apprenticeship

If you don't want to sit in a class every day to get the qualifications that will get you a job, we can help you earn while you're learning and gain recognised qualifications as you work.

As an apprentice you will do a real job for a real employer, building up knowledge and skills that will look great on your CV. You will work towards a relevant qualification which will let future employers know you have been trained in the skills they need.

Employers really value apprenticeships and you'll feel the rewards in your pocket too – an average apprentice's wage is £170 per week, while over the course of their careers, those with an apprenticeship earn, on average, £100,000 more than those without.

We run the largest Apprenticeship programme in the region, covering a whole range of areas, and thanks to our great links with employers always have businesses looking for apprentices and can help you find the ideal opportunity for you.

Gain work experience with a traineeship

If lack of work experience is holding you back, we offer an education and training programme to help.

Traineeships give you the skills and experience employers are looking for. The course includes work preparation, maths, English and a work placement.

They are an excellent preparation for moving on to an apprenticeship.
