Universal Credit is a single payment to help with your living costs, replacing a range of benefits, including Job Seekers Allowance and Employment Support Allowance. If you are currently claiming another benefit, you will be advised by the DWP if you need to move on to Universal Credit. We offer a variety of services to support you into finding work. Follow the links below or speak to your Work Coach if you are interested in any of the services. One-to-one support and advice to adults of all ages in Wolverhampton who are looking for employment or for opportunities to progress in their career, including free skills assessments.

This gives you the opportunity to learn about the industry, complete a qualification, gain some work experience and also benefit from a guaranteed interview. Work Experience and Work Trials
We have links with many employers, and this can be a good way of getting your foot in the door with local employers. Speak to your Work Coach in the Jobcentre about arranging Work Experience or a Work Trial.
